In a classroom environment, learning specialists will provide a combination of push-in and pull-out support to small groups of students while practicing Magen David Yeshivah’s high level of care and educational standards. ELA Specialists will provide support in Hebrew Language and Judaic History.
We are looking for a Judaic Studies Learning Center Specialist for Grades 1-4 for our Brooklyn school to Teach Safa and Keria to small groups of struggling students.
The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during the summer.
Specialists are expected to collaborate closely with classroom teachers.
Evaluate each student’s growth in knowledge and skills in the course being taught.
Cultivate core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion and integrity within students.
Master’s Degree / Semicha Rabbinic Ordination.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Learning Disabilities.
Judaic Studies Specialists should be fluent in Hebrew, and feel comfortable teaching in an Ivrit b’Ivrit school.
