Pembroke Hill School, is seeking a full- time faculty member for the Social Studies Department in the Upper School. This faculty member will begin teaching in the 2018-2019 school year and teach 5 sections ranging from 9th grade to A/P level with a choice of elective activities. Position requirements include Bachelor’s Degree in a social studies related field of study, although candidates with a Master's Degree will be preferred. Requirement is a minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the high school level.
Applicant should feel comfortable teaching in a college prep environment and must demonstrate confidence, flexibility and student focused abilities. Must have a strong knowledge and background in Social Studies and demonstrate ability to teach all high school levels. There are coaching and club sponsor opportunities available for additional compensation.
