EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the high school level, preferably in an independent school environment.
Bachelor’s degree in subject area required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience teaching AP Computer Science preferred
Serve as co-sponsor of Upper School Robotics program
Serve as an advisor to 10-12 students, guiding students in academic, extracurricular, social, and personal development, and acting as primary liaison to parents/guardians.
Collaborative and engaged member of the faculty who is committed to students and to teacher growth.
Enthusiasm for embracing the independent school model of mentoring, advising and supporting students outside of the classroom.
Demonstrate a high degree of cultural competency and a commitment to a community that values equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Comfortable using online texts, iPad devices, and Learning Management System.
