The Upper School at St. Paul’s - an International Baccalaureate school enrolling 350 boys in grades 9 - 12 - invites applications for the position of Upper School English Teacher for the 2018 - 2019 school year.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach in a writing-intensive curriculum that encompasses a range of texts from the Western canon and international contemporary literature. Significant experience in IB, AP, or honors-level courses is preferred.
Candidates must have a degree in English or a related field, with demonstrated excellence in the arts of written communication and pedagogy. Student-centered teaching, coaching, and advising are key components of our academically rigorous, individually-focused teaching model; thus, faculty members are expected to participate in the athletic and extra-curricular life of the school as they live our mission: seek truth, knowledge, and excellence; live by faith, compassion, and integrity.
