Potential Upper School Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher

BB&N is potentially seeking a full-time Upper School math and computer science teacher. Responsibilities include teaching four sections, which will most likely include a combination of math and computer science courses. Additional assigned extra-curricular duties will likely include advising, extra-curricular clubs, and/or coaching. The ideal candidate would also advise BB&N’s robotics club.
The ideal candidate will bring degree work in mathematics and/or computer science, high school teaching experience including various levels of college preparatory mathematics and computer science, and ample experience with the use of technology for mathematics instruction.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:
Enjoys working with high school aged students
Strong writing skills
Warmth, sense of humor, and tact
Commitment to working in and fostering an inclusive community
Ability to collaborate with colleagues
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Understand and exhibit high standards of professional conduct
