Middle School Boys’ Lacrosse Coach
We are seeking an experienced head coach for our middle school boys’ lacrosse team. The head coach will work to promote the skills and character development that are the cornerstones of our middle school athletics program.
The season runs from March 12, 2018 – May 24, 2018. Practices take place Monday through Thursday from approximately 3:00-4:45 pm. There will also be 8-10 interscholastic games (scheduled on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon’s), which will require an additional time commitment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position, not eligible for benefits, and reports to the Director of Athletics and Middle School Head.
Provide, promote, and model excellent coaching and instruction in line with Belmont Day School’s six core values: Respect, Honesty, Responsibility, Caring, Joy, and Excellence
Provide safe, calm, and organized team environment
Prepare and implement effective practice and game plans
Manage logistics of team’s daily and seasonal schedule
Communicate effectively with Director of Athletics
