Friends Select School seeks a full-time Mathematics teacher for the 2018-2019 school year in its Upper School division. Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree in mathematics or a related field (advanced degrees highly considered). A qualified candidate will be an experienced teacher of mathematics in a high school setting and should be prepared to teach all levels of high school mathematics (Algebra 1 through Calculus). The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with colleagues. Qualified candidates should have the ability to challenge students at the highest academic level as well as assist students who need more guidance. Other duties and responsibilities include student advising, club and committee involvement, and fulfillment of general faculty duties.
