The Head of the Middle School provides leadership for grades 6, 7, and 8. As the middle school’s leader, he or she must ensure that all members of the middle school community work together to help fulfill the Academy’s mission statement. Additionally, he or she must strive to maintain that the environment on campus and in the classroom is safe for students and employees, and that the academic program is designed to be age appropriate and provides appropriate learning opportunities to meet the needs of all students. The Head of the Middle School reports to the Head of School and is a contributing member of the Academy’s Executive Committee. Additionally, he or she is responsible for all issues relating to the academic program as well as student life in the middle school division.

A graduate degree in a relevant field associated with education and/or leadership
