Dwight School is seeking a High School Biology and Chemistry Teacher for a maternity leave replacement. This position begins December 5, 2016 and continues through March 17, 2016.
The ideal candidate would meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Science Education or in Biology/Chemistry is required
Master’s Degree in Secondary Science Education or in Biology/Chemistry is strongly recommended, specifically with a background in fieldwork and/or laboratory research
At least two years prior teaching experience in an Upper school setting
An ability to teach a range of learners
Experience with thoughtful technology integration in a science classroom
Experience with the International Baccalaureate is preferred but not required
Desire to collaborate with our hard-working faculty and to participate in the life of the school
