Bancroft School seeks an Upper School Head for Grades 9 – 12, approximately 215 students. Candidates should possess superior leadership and communication skills, successful teaching and administrative experience, a passion for working with students, faculty, and parents, and a dedication to fostering a diverse independent school community of good people who are both global citizens and life-long learners. Resiliency, flexibility, and a sense of humor are essential attributes. The Head of Upper School reports directly to the Head of School and works collaboratively as a member of the School’s administrative team. Educational requirements include a master’s degree and at least five years’ experience in a school setting.
