Upper School Math Teacher
Berkeley Carroll is a Pre-K through 12th grade college preparatory school of 968 students located in the Park Slope neighborhood of New York City. The Upper School seeks an experienced math teacher to join its Math Department and to teach a range of grades and courses, from 9th grade Geometry through Advanced Calculus. In addition to teaching responsibilities, faculty members are expected to be active members of our school community by advising a group of students and by facilitating a student club or coaching a team.
The ideal candidate will have strong content knowledge as well as the ability to assess the instructional and educational needs of students and to design, develop, and implement interesting and effective lessons.
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics and an advanced degree in mathematics and/or education is preferred.
