Greens Farms Academy seeks an experienced Upper School Physics Teacher to begin in August 2017. The position will most likely involve three sections of physics and one section of chemistry. GFA faculty are typically involved outside the classroom in a variety of ways, including advising, chaperoning trips and events, leading extracurricular clubs, and/or coaching. There are also opportunities to advise students engaged in independent science research projects. The teacher will join a thriving Science Department, which recently helped launch a program for graduating students to earn a diploma with a concentration in STEAM. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of teaching experience, an advanced degree in physics or a related field, a passion for working with high school students, and a commitment to fostering a diverse community.
