Position Description and Requirements
Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking a new upper school (grades 9-12) mathematics teacher. The position requires a Bachelor degree in mathematics (or related field) and at least 3 years of teaching math at the high school level.
Teaching responsibilities include all levels of high school mathematics, with experience teaching AP Statistics a plus. This position would include five classes a day, and the average class size would be approximately 12-14 students. Experience with local, state and or national mathematics competitions is helpful, as all math teachers are expected to coach a team for our highly successful and popular Mu Alpha Theta club.

Compensation and Benefits
The appointment will be for the academic year starting in August 2017. The appointment is a full-time, instructional position that will be paid on an annual salary commensurate with experience, degree attainment, and qualifications.
