Maret School is looking for an energetic homeroom teacher who is passionate about equity and inclusion and having a responsive classroom. An ideal candidate should be flexible and able to differentiate teaching and activities to engage every type of learner. The homeroom teacher is responsible for teaching language arts, math, and social studies to a small class of students in a K-4 setting. Qualified applicants should have a background in education and at least two years of classroom experience. We are looking for candidates with a knowledge of child development, experience with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Workshop, and an ability to work collaboratively with grade-level colleagues and resource teachers.
