The Windward School, a coeducational independent day school dedicated to providing an excellent instructional program for children with language based learning disabilities, seeks a full-time twelve month Administrative Assistant to the Manhattan Division Head. The Administrative Assistant performs tasks in support of the Division Head and the school faculty and staff.
This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, the ability to be proactive and work independently to accomplish varied tasks while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in logistical planning, problem solving and possess the ability to prioritize demands. The candidate will be expected to maintain confidential and sensitive information and show excellent judgment while interacting with students, faculty, parents and professionals.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook. Blackbaud database experience preferred.
BA degree and at least three years’ experience in office management or administration required.
