The Alumni Programs Officer helps develop and implement Alumni programs, services and outreach that align with the goals and initiatives of Punahou School and the Advancement division. The position is responsible for engaging a global network of alumni, family and friends to connect and engage with Punahou School and the Punahou Alumni Association (PAA) by delivering alumni programs and working in collaboration with partners on campus.
The position promotes alumni engagement with the school -- its faculty and students, its mission and goals -- by helping alumni form meaningful relationships with Punahou and each other through a series of alumni programs.
This position reports to the Director of Alumni Relations and works under general supervision to assist in coordinating operations for Alumni Programs. The Alumni Programs Officer functions as the program representative and has the responsibility for developing relationships with and supporting a diverse community affiliated with Punahou School and PAA.

Work Year: Year-round
Work Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, After work hours, weekends, holidays for special events as needed
Three years of experience in one or more of the following fields: alumni or student programs, fundraising, events and/or project management, public relations or communications.
Help identify and develop content for a variety of communication methods (emails, web, social media, hard copy, etc.) to engage alumni; evaluate success of communications and adjust outreach strategies accordingly.
Prepare presentations and represent Alumni Programs and Punahou.
Prepare and manage program materials including invitations, presentations, slideshows, tabletop collateral
Respond to alumni inquiries and requests via telephone, email, and other means.
Identify and integrate alumni programs and activities into the life of the school.
Promote opportunities for alumni to volunteer in school and alumni association activities.
Support alumni locally, nationally and globally to connect with one another and/or with the Office of Alumni Relations and PAA to build and maintain relationships.
Adhere to policies, procedures and methods of operation.
Lead student, temporary, and/or volunteer workers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
