Full-time Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Moses Brown School is a co-educational independent day school for nursery through twelfth grade. Responsibilities: As a full-time math teacher, the successful applicant will teach 4 sections of math, with 2 separate preparations. The ability to teach Calculus and AP Calculus AB a must. Working collaboratively with other members of the department is important to our school culture.
All full-time teachers also supervise co-curricular activities after school for 2 of the 3 seasons of the academic year. After the first year at Moses Brown, teachers assume responsibility for a group of upper school advisees.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution. Two to five years of teaching experience is preferred, although not a requirement for application. Master’s degree or beyond is desirable. We seek candidates who are passionate about their desire to teach, advise, and learn from high school students, and eager to embrace and forward the Quaker mission of the school. The position begins with the 17-18 school year.
