Mount Vernon is looking for a Middle School language arts teacher for the 2017-18 school year.
This position reports directly to the Head of Middle School.

- Engage in seasonal reflection and discussion with colleagues utilizing Folio, SMART goal setting, cultivating a PLN (professional learning network), and attending/leading at conferences.
- Assist with the daily operations and safety of the School by gaining clarity around your role in emergency procedures, carpool & lunch supervision, chaperoning trips and events, maintaining red binder sub plans, serving as advisor and conference mentor, facilitating Christian Education small groups, following PTO process, and abiding by handbook, etc.
- Engage in life beyond the classroom by sponsoring a club, coaching a sport, attending events, and participating in the annual Mount Vernon Fund, etc.
