Milton Hershey School (MHS) is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Home Life (ADHL) for a growing student body. The School currently cares for over 2,000 students in 3 divisions (elementary, middle and high school) and is expanding to serve 2,300 students by 2020. Staff working in the Home Life team have the flexibility to work with all ages of students.
The ADHL is responsible for supporting the Home Life Director in providing leadership and supervision to Home Life Staff to ensure high quality and safe residential/home life programming. The role entails a high volume of daily interactions with staff throughout the school, students, and their sponsors to ensure smooth daily operations. The role also includes leading and participating in any number of teams and committees to address concerns, as well as to develop innovative and value add programming and initiatives to support the 2020 Vision.
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years leading and supervising, preferably in a residential program.
