Part-time US Learning Specialist
Berkeley Carroll is a Pre-K through grade 12 college preparatory school of 968 students located in the Park Slope section of New York City. The Berkeley Carroll School is seeking a part-time learning specialist to join the Center for Learning Strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience providing targeted, short-term support to individual students in grades 9-12 who need help developing effective techniques for time management, organization, and test preparation. Attention to clerical detail, tenacious follow up, and meticulous record-keeping are required. The successful candidate will serve as the school’s College Board SSD Coordinator and ACT Special Testing facilitator. Experience with accommodations management is a plus; an advanced degree (or completed coursework toward an advanced degree) in special education, psychology, or a related discipline is required. This is a three-day-a-week position.
