Lancaster Country Day School, a private, coeducational college preparatory school seeks an experienced admission professional for the position of Director of Admission. Serving 580 students in preschool through twelfth grade, Lancaster Country Day is set on 26 acres in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and 90 minutes from Philadelphia and Baltimore.
Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Admission directly manages a staff of 2.5, administers a financial aid budget of $3.5 M, is a member of the Senior Staff and works closely with the Board of Trustees. The overall goal for the Director is to build on the Admission Office’s strengths, to provide leadership and implement a strategic enrollment vision. The Director of Admission plays a vital role in the Lancaster Country Day community and will be expected to strengthen the enrollment management infrastructure by implementing strategies to ensure that the Office achieves the enrollment goals set by the Board of Trustees and Head of School.
Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree (Masters degree preferred), five years of admission and financial aid experience, a strong commitment to a PK-12 independent school, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational and managerial skills, high energy, flexibility, warmth, sense of humor, and must be a team player.
