The middle school history teacher is responsible for teaching two sections of 5th grade and two sections of 6th grade history/social studies. Interest/experience in developing curriculum on a team is essential. The successful candidate will have a deep appreciation for student-centered, engaging, and innovative teaching practices and will welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other educators in developing integrated, project-based curricula. Experience with workshop methodology is ideal.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a minimum of three years of teaching and curriculum experience. Advisory experience preferred.
