The Head Teacher is responsible for the education and support of students in her/his homeroom. S/he will plan and implement lower school curriculum in a self-contained classroom setting, including math, reading, writing and social studies. The Head Teacher is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of academic, social, and emotional progress of the students. The successful candidate will have a deep appreciation for student-centered, engaging, and innovative teaching practices and will welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other educators in developing integrated, project-based curricula.
Candidates should have a Master’s in Education, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience as a head teacher.
