La Jolla Country Day School (LJCDS) is an independent coeducational day school for students in early childhood (age 3) through Grade 12. The Head of Upper School oversees approximately 460 students and 48 faculty members from grades 9 to 12. Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision, faculty leadership, curriculum development, academic advising, college preparedness, and connecting the school to the world and the world to the school.
