The Director of Marketing and Communications reports to the Director of Admissions. Responsibilities include the following institutional priorities:
Plan and execute marketing and branding programs that enhance the visibility and public perception of Westminster.
Ensure all school communications are coordinated to address Westminster's audiences with a unified and consistent voice.
Specific responsibilities to advance these priorities include the following:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan
Manage the marketing and communications budget
Oversee all school communication outlets, including Windows, the website, blogs, social media, the annual report, event invitations and programs, admission collateral and other key community publications with regard to copy, design, production, editorial consistency, and graphic identity
Oversee weekly e-mail newsletter to parents with the assistance of the Communications Coordinator
Negotiate media contracts for the purpose of advertising
Manage media relations, including writing press releases and cultivating relations with local and regional media
Give counsel and review protocol for any actions, activities and/or public responses for public relations impact
Responsible for editorial material for school publications
Coordinate with printers to ensure timely production and delivery of materials
Oversee the coordination of mailings and communications to various constituencies
Identify and ensure Westminster's brand identity across all communications
Work with those who take photographs at school events to coordinate use in school publications and for online photo album
Facilitate relationships with other entities for co-promotional purposes

The Part-Time Communications Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. Responsibilities include the following institutional priorities:
Work with the Director of Marketing and Communications to ensure all communications activities are coordinated to address Westminster's audiences with a unified and consistent voice
Assist with the planning and execution of programs that enhance the visibility and public perception of Westminster
Specific Responsibilities to advance these priorities include the following:
Assist with the development and implementation of the strategic marketing plan
Oversee content of website by keeping abreast of school happenings
Responsible for some updates and the upkeep of wsa.net with some technical assistance provided
Produce and send the weekly Wildcat Scratch e-mail newsletter
Responsible for design/updates of some collateral material, primarily updating material that exists
Provide technical assistance for embedding photos/galleries on wsa.net
Assist with promotion of the school through viral and social media marketing techniques when Director needs assistance
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
Minimum three years experience in marketing, communications or public relations
Superb oral and written communication skills with regard to writing and editing
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and work in a team environment
