The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to engage students in the love of music and set high performance standards.
Experience in both individual and group instruction in violin, viola, and cello with the goal to bring students to performance level work is crucial. A background in general music and classroom teaching experience is preferred. Familiarity with hand bells is a bonus. A graduate degree in music or music education is strongly desired.
We seek collaborative teachers who are ready to participate in all aspects of school life, including teaching after school lessons. The teacher will work with other teachers in the performing arts department and across disciplines.
