The Overlake School is seeking an outstanding educator who goes above and beyond to ensure student success and who will contribute to our school community as a math teacher. The primary responsibility of the position will be to teach 4 sections of 7th grade mathematics (Algebra) in the Fall semester. Other responsibilities include serving as advisor for a group of 8 to 10 7th graders, advising a middle school club each quarter, proctoring and providing academic support to students during study hall periods, and working closely with the Overlake School 7th grade team and the Mathematics and Computer Science Department.
This is a full-time, one-semester, sabbatical replacement position beginning on Aug 17, 2017 (New Teacher Orientation) and ending on January 5, 2018 (end of first semester classes).
