Greenwich Academy seeks an outstanding educator to join a collaborative team of counselors in a college counseling office that, above all, builds strong and personal relationships with students and their families. The new director will work closely with the other directors in the office to counsel students throughout their junior and senior years, helping to build thoughtful college lists, supporting their applications and providing advocacy in the form of comprehensive written recommendations. In addition, the new director will share in the responsibilities of community outreach, communication with colleges and development of new initiatives.
The successful candidate will have excellent writing and communication skills as well as an appetite for professional development and travel to conferences and college campuses. A minimum of five years’ experience in college counseling and/or college admissions is required, and facility with Naviance is preferred.
