Riverdale’s Mathematics Department is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced educator with the desire to teach in both Middle and Upper School environments. This job is likely focused in the Middle School; however, flexibility would be helpful. Our ideal candidate combines student-centered learning, the use of technology with traditional pedagogy, and the ability to incorporate real-world applications of mathematics into their teaching. Candidates with familiarity in computer science, engineering or robotics will receive additional consideration.
All candidates for Riverdale teaching positions should demonstrate an interest in engaging students in an environment that is both supportive and rigorous and will participate in community activities including advising groups, service opportunities, or other co-curricular activities.
