Camp Treetops and North Country School will add a Director of New Programs beginning July 1, 2017. The Director of New Programs will be a member of the administrative team and report to the Head of School. The director will develop, staff, implement, and market growth-oriented, short-term programs. These programs will build on the school’s expertise in the arts; sustainable agriculture (farm to fork); outdoor, environmental and residential education; and English as a Second Language. These programs will expand the educational reach of the institution and serve students in public and private schools and colleges, alumni/ae, and educational professionals.
The successful Director of New Programs (or couple serving as co-directors) will be goal-oriented, have an entrepreneurial spirit and keen work ethic, and demonstrate financial/sales/business skills. The director will also be a visionary with a prose-worthy pen, as well as an educator with a desire to collaborate.
This is a full-time, year-round position. Benefits include health, retirement, housing, and tuition remission. The salary is competitive.
The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree and have experience in experiential and/or educational programs. An M.Ed. or MBA is preferred. This position may be suitable for a couple whose professional backgrounds lend themselves to a shared responsibility in designing and implementing new programs.
