Glenelg Country School is seeking a full-time experienced school nurse to head the Health Services Department for the 2017/2018 year. This full-time, 12-month position is available beginning in June. Requirements include school/camp nursing experience, Maryland license, and CPR certification. Qualified candidate will possess strong leadership, excellent communication skills, competent in Microsoft Office programs, and the ability to work collaboratively. Responsibilities will include day to day assessment and care of students and staff, supervision of other health staff, in-service training of school personnel, human development curriculum instruction/oversight, coordination of annual screenings/wellness programs, budget management and compliance with state nursing guidelines. Summer responsibilities include providing first aid to campers and staff, preparing for fall sports in coordination with the Athletic Department and overseeing completion of student health information necessary for the start of the school year. Delegation trained, experience with electronic medical records and First Aid/CPR instructor is a plus.
