For over 114 years, DCD has flourished as an independent, coeducational day school in the Boston area. Our teachers and staff bring our mission to life in a number of ways: provide students with developmentally appropriate challenges and lessons; offer a rich balance of programs in arts, athletics, and academics; build a strong and inclusive community; and inspire students to be caring and ethical members in the larger world. DCD serves a diverse student body of 257 students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Eight. Our classrooms and playing fields are located on our 17-acre bucolic campus.
DCD does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, national and ethnic origin, religion, or sexual orientation in regard to its educational policies, employment policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
