Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a math, science, engineering, or technology-related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience is required; subject area experience and a willingness to develop instructional skills will also be considered. Substantial experience in guiding hands-on, project-based learning is required.
Knowledge of electronics, robotics systems, and programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java is essential. Experience with the following is preferred, but not required:
• Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other robotics platforms • 2D and 3D CAD software • 3D printing • Wood and/or metal working • CNC mills and laser cutters/engravers
This position requires someone who can work with students independently or entire classes of 10-20 students, and adjust to their needs, interests and abilities as needed. The ideal candidate will also have an aptitude and inclination to learn new and complex technology and will pursue professional development opportunities on an ongoing basis.
