Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a full-time maternity leave substitute for a First Grade Instructional Assistant from April 3 - May 30, 2017. The First Grade Instructional Assistant will work collaboratively with a master teacher to plan the instructional program and co-teach lessons to whole and small groups that are both age-appropriate and address individual student needs. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience and/or training working in a first grade or Early Childhood classroom. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.
