Mid-Pacific seeks a High School Assistant Principal for Academics.
The High School Assistant Principal (AP) for Academics is directly responsible to the High School Principal, has agency in all academic aspects of the High School including curriculum development, classroom technology integration, and program growth and implementation. The AP for Academics also contributes to faculty supervision, academic record keeping and general operation of the school. In partnership with the AP for Student Life, the AP for Academics will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the high school in the Principal’s absence.
The AP for Academics collaborates closely with the AP for Student Life, with duties assigned by the High School Principal. The Principal and APs are to be guided by the view that these three positions are a team working with mutual understanding and cooperation in the implementation of the overall school program and the management of the HS faculty, students, and staff.
Mid-Pacific is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school serving students from Preschool - grade 12.
Education and/or Experience: Requires a Master’s degree in Education; a minimum of two years experience in school administration; a minimum of five years classroom teaching experience; and experience in curriculum development, faculty supervision and development, and student services.
