Mid-Pacific seeks a full-time Middle School Science Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. Will deliver innovative Science instruction to middle level learners in grades 6 through 8. The Middle School Science Teacher must possess a breadth of Science and Technology knowledge designed to cultivate critical thinking skills, and enhance the understanding of scientific methodology and effective lab practices. Essential to the success of the Mid-Pacific Science program is the capacity to foster relationships with outside partners and Science-based professionals in support of the instructional program. Additionally, critical to their skillset is the ability to be instructionally flexible by integrating outside collaborations that make science engaging and relevant to the lives of students. Mid-Pacific is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school serving students from Preschool - grade 12.
Qualifications and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field from an accredited university or college. A minimum of three years of middle level teaching experience is strongly preferred. A minimum of one year of robotics teaching experience preferred.
