As a full-time classroom teacher, you will be responsible for teaching sections of Spanish in our Foreign Language Department. The Dunn School foreign language curriculum is taught in grades 7 through 12 and seeks to build conversational and academic language proficiency in all Dunn students. The department employs the TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) approach to build linguistic competencies and to create a joy of learning language. As a Dunn School Spanish teacher, you will teach sections of Spanish at different levels. There may also be an opportunity to teach another world language at an introductory level, so candidates with the ability to teach other languages in addition to Spanish are preferred. As a full-time faculty member, you will be involved with other facets of the Dunn School boarding community such as coaching, advising, and residential duties.
