The candidate who fills this position will join an exceptionally collegial department with a strong commitment to collaboration, pedagogical innovation, and intellectual risk-taking. Candidates must have a passion for working with and teaching adolescents, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, an ability to meet deadlines, a capacity to multitask and prioritize workload, and superior interpersonal and technological skills.
Candidates will teach an integrated 9th-11th grade Global History curriculum that includes both World and U.S. History. A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree is preferred.
