The Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a fulltime Lower School Speech and Language Therapist for the 2017-28 school year.
Teaching a small 4th grade reading group with a focus on language
Providing push-in support/team teaching during reading & humanities, grades 2-5
Informally screening individual students
Collaborating with classroom teachers and other learning specialists to embed language goals into the curriculum and provide guidance for supporting students in the classroom. Graduate degree in speech-language pathology or related and at least 2 years of school-based experience is required. Must have CCC-SLP and TSSLD.
