The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and will have significant experience working in the non-profit and/or school environment. Collaboration, team-building and networking skills are a must for this individual to thrive. A passion for mission-driven programming, a healthy sense of humor and the ability to relate to our student and faculty population will be helpful tools for this position.
- Experience in an educational/academic setting and with youth programs
- Skill in curriculum design and program vision implementation
- 3+ years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of staff training and evaluation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to or experience in grant writing
- Familiarity and understanding of issues related to equity and public school systems
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and manage new technology
- Ability to manage a strategic planning process with support and implementation of desired initiatives
