Founded in 1952, Norwood School is a coeducational day school with approximately 440 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school sits on 38 beautiful and expansive acres in Bethesda, Maryland, less than six miles from Washington, D.C. Norwood is looking to detailed oriented, fun loving, and energetic after-school teachers to assist in the After Care program for six- to 14-year-old students. The position offers competitive compensation, summers off, excellent work environment, and flexible hours. Ideal candidates will have experience working with students in an educational setting as a teacher, aide, or volunteer, and have a passion for creating a child-centered environment. Norwood’s After Care program is a play-based, teacher-guided program promoting healthy social and emotional development of young children.
