The Associate Director of the Upper School is an integral member of the Upper School administrative team who partners with faculty, students, and parents to advance and support the objectives of the Upper School program. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, oversight of Middle to Upper School transition programs, oversight of student support programs (academic, health, etc.), support and oversight of professional growth objectives of veteran and new faculty, service on committees, regular communication with students, faculty, and parents, etc.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), significant teaching and administrative experience and a distinguished record of innovation and professional growth in a school setting. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in relationship building, supervision, and project management. Ideal candidates possess fluid intelligence and seek to work collaboratively in a fast paced dynamic environment.
