Poly Prep seeks applicants for an Upper School Mathematics Teacher.
3 Geometry and 1 Advanced Geometry class
Willingness to meet with students on an individual basis as need be
Eagerness to keep up with developments in the field and amend and develop curricula as necessary
Ability to keep accurate grades, effectively communicate with students and families, and provide feedback on student progress consistently throughout the school year
Assume role as an advisor for a group of students (7-10)
Advise a club or activity
Attendance at community events throughout the school year
Commitment to professional development
Attendance and engagement in meetings during and after the school school day including but not limited to: department, committee, divisional and grade level meetings

The position requires knowledge of and or practice in all levels of upper school mathematics with a specialization in Geometry.
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of two years experience teaching project-based geometry, be proficient in Geometer's Sketchpad, be skilled in creating alternative assessments, and have experience with Maker Spaces.
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, a love for learning and working with students, families and colleagues, and a sense of humor. Candidates should have at minimum a bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred.
