Five to seven years successful experience with closing gifts as an Annual Giving or Major Gifts officer preferably with an independent school or college, although consideration is given to those with museum or other cultural experience.
The successful candidate must have prior fundraising or financial planning experience.
Knowledge and a level of comfort in discussing Planned Gifts.
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, Moves Management, or similar systems and data bases, is a plus.
Ability to work independently, but also participate as an active member of the Advancement Team and the School community.
Excellent communication skills, especially written.
Ability to juggle appointments, schedules, and set and reach goals.
Knowledge of Wealth Engine and other prospect researching tools is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Occasional evening and weekend events.
Local and regional travel is required.
