Mid-Pacific seeks a full-time Middle School World Language - Japanese Teacher for the 2017-2018 school year. The Middle School Japanese World Language Teacher must possess a breadth of language instructional strategies designed to meet the needs of all learners. As a middle-level Japanese Language Teacher, it is important to possess a well-defined pedagogy intended to cultivate a collaborative and student-centered learning environment that encourages critical thinking within the context of a language learning environment. Essential to the success of the Mid-Pacific World Language Program is the capacity to foster relationships with colleagues, work within a teaming environment as well as design instruction with today's learners in mind. Mid-Pacific is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school serving students from Preschool - grade 12.
Qualifications and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a a four-year college or university. Master's degree (M.A.) strongly preferred. Prior successful experience teaching Japanese Language to middle-level learners strongly preferred.
