In response to growing enrollment and a diversified curriculum, Montrose School seeks a veteran teacher of upper school science to join its research-based, professional learning community in Medfield. Serving girls in grades 6-12 from over 50 communities, Montrose develops young women leaders through its unique program of character education.
Full time faculty members teach 4 sections, advise individual girls, mentor student clubs and coach student athletes.
The successful applicant will have at least 3 years of teaching science at the advanced level, be enthusiastic about girls' education, and demonstrate an interest in an inquiry-based classroom and in connecting girls with opportunities for exploration of science-related professional study.
