Milton Academy seeks a Grade Four Homeroom Teacher.
Subjects of focus include Social Studies (Africa and the Middle East - Ancient and Modern), Literature, Reading, and Writing. Desired qualities include superior content knowledge, competency teaching Grade Four or an upper elementary curriculum, solid understanding of the developmental needs of pre-adolescent students, the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary environment, the skills to communicate well with colleagues and parents, experience and comfort with technology, and the ability to integrate technology skills into curricular units.
We seek a teacher who is a lifelong learner and balances engagement, innovation, relevance, and rigor. Candidates should be passionate about working with children, have a sense of humor, and possess a strong work ethic.
