Walden School, a small, independent, student-centered school, is looking for our next high school Physics and Calculus teacher and student advisor. This position is tasked with implementing a hands-on, project-based science program that focuses on 21st-century pedagogy. A wide variety of classes will be taught including AP physics 1 and 2 / and AP calculus AB/BC. Responsibilities also include participation in an advisor program that is integral to student success. Candidates should feel mentoring students is equally as important as teaching content.
Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree in education or related field, two years experience teaching in a classroom setting and willingness to participate in extracurricular activities.
