JOB SUMMARY: We are growing and searching for innovative educators who are eager to be challenged! Kingsley is seeking a an experienced Spanish teacher to begin teaching in the Fall 2017. This is an exciting opportunity to teach at one of Boston’s premier independent schools. We are seeking world-class educators (either Montessori trained or with an independent school background) who are looking to bring innovation into the classroom and who desire to work with proven Montessori pedagogy. At Kingsley, your educational passion and creativity can have a potential impact on the design of our progressive, integrated curriculum. Applicants should be excited about teaching in our integrated model and the partnerships between yourself and the classroom teachers. The Spanish Teacher should be outgoing, driven, and desiring a modern program which marries technology with traditional practices. At the core, the Spanish Teacher works to build confident learners able to engage in conversational Spanish. Candidates should be able to lead the students in learning about the Spanish language, Spanish speaking cultures, and their histories and literature, through interactive and engaging lessons. As the lead Spanish teacher, you will be responsible for all aspects of your students’ language experience and for developing strong partnerships with parents. Other important duties include advancing your professional and personal growth, collegiality, and administrative duties. All teachers attend regular meetings, observe, advise, and serve as a mentor and role model for other faculty in the areas of Montessori methodology, curriculum management, classroom schedules, record keeping, student needs, and the classroom environment. The Spanish Teacher reports to the Directors of Education at Kingsley.

-Native level language ability
-BA/BS degree required and MA degree preferred
-Minimum of 3- 5 years teaching experience
