Garrison Forest School is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Community Engagement. The Director of Community Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cultivation engagement plan to promote, grow and ensure the success of alumnae and parent programs. A primary goal of this position is to increase awareness of and involvement in the school community of these two important constituencies. Additionally, this individual plans and oversees school-wide events, particularly those involving alumnae and parents.
Volunteer management plays a significant part in the daily responsibilities of the Director of Community Engagement. Attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude is a must. A college degree is required. This is a 12-month position and occasional evening and weekend work is necessary. GFS seeks candidates who will contribute to and are committed to diversity and multicultural educational practices.
